LOADING MY PORTFOLIO.
A scroll-driven marketing site for Beastkicks, a shop in Dipolog City that sells authentic Vans. The page is built around one Old Skool in 3D that makes a full turn as you scroll through three chapters: Stay Original, Built for Everyday and Make Your Own Way.
Launch project
Most sneaker shop pages are a grid of product photos. Beastkicks puts one Old Skool on center stage. It turns a full 360° as you scroll, and the headline changes with each of the three chapters. A pixel style taken from the shop's own logo carries through the loader, the details and the type.
The shoe is a licensed CC BY scan that I cleaned up in Blender and compressed for the web. It keeps all 53K triangles, with textures cut from 8K to 2K and Meshopt compression. Scrolling is the browser's own, using CSS sticky, so the page never takes over your wheel or touch. If WebGL isn't available, a rendered image takes the shoe's place, and the page respects reduced-motion settings.
